Our Aims

On the back of three successive ‘Outstanding’ gradings by OFSTED, our special primary school in Oxford became an Academy on 1 September 2012. Two years to the day later, the Trust was proud to open its second school in the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull.

These are exciting times for the Trust. Our Solihull school broke new ground for us in that it admits children and young people from reception to key stage 4. Now we are able to offer children an all-through education leading to GCSEs and other academic and vocational qualifications, although our specialist integration and outreach staff will always be looking for opportunities to reintegrate our pupils into mainstream schools whenever that is possible and desirable.

On 1 January 2016 we were delighted to open our second all-through school in the City of Wolverhampton, at the Valley Park Campus in Whitmore Reans. This was followed by the opening of our Pupil Referral Unit, situated on the same campus, in September 2016. The unit is a short stay school which supports primary children who need short term specialist support in order to be able to learn and function successfully in mainstream schools.
  
As 2017 dawned, we added our third all-through school to our growing family in the leafy suburbs of Wokingham. Soon, we
will be opening the ‘DEN’, an early years nurturing outreach centre in Didcot. This is a project we will be undertaking in collaboration with the Didcot Schools Partnership and supported financially by Oxfordshire.
